FillJar is an online budgeting tool built around the 6-jar method. You create virtual jars, assign each a percentage of your income, and FillJar splits the money automatically every time you add it.

The 6-jar method divides your income into six categories: Necessities (55%), Financial Freedom (10%), Long-term Savings (10%), Education (10%), Play (10%), and Give (5%). The percentages are just defaults - you can set them however you want.

Yes. The free plan gives you up to 6 jars and full transaction history with graphs. The Pro plan is a one-time $5 payment and removes the jar and history limits, adds recurring expenses, spending limit alerts, and more.

Pro is a one-time $5 payment, no subscription. It unlocks unlimited jars, recurring expense automation, per-jar spending caps (daily, weekly, or monthly), and early access to new features.

Open Settings (gear icon in the dashboard) and scroll to the Danger Zone. You can reset balances, clear transaction history, delete recurring schedules, or do a full reset. These actions are permanent.

Your data is stored in MongoDB over HTTPS. Passwords are hashed with bcrypt and never stored in plain text. We don't sell or share your data with anyone. Data you provide is only used for the app funtionality. See the Privacy Policy for details.

Go to Settings, scroll to the Danger Zone, and click Delete Account. This permanently removes all your jars, transactions, and personal data.
